Forbes rates Yandex most expensive company of Runet in 2018

MOSCOW, Feb 21 (PRIME) -- Internet giant Yandex has topped the rating of 20 most expensive companies of the 2018 Runet, the Russian-speaking segment of the Internet, with a value of U.S. $12.38 billion, Forbes reported on Wednesday.

The Runet’s biggest players actively purchase niche projects and create ecosystems, covering all spheres of life from food delivery to taxi hailing and e-sports. Forbes focused on businesses in the Internet, whose revenue relies on online by more than a half and which were created in Russia or work mainly on the Russian market.

The second place belongs to Internet giant Mail.Ru Group worth $6.86 billion, which continues expanding portfolio of its assets.

Online classifieds service Avito worth $2.734 billion is on the third place.

Online store Wildberries with a value of $602 million and online clothes and footwear retailer Lamoda worth $454 million follow.
